NTT DATA Portugal has announced that it is strengthening its presence in the city of Porto with the creation of three new specialized knowledge centers.
The three new specialized hubs, NextGen Core Banking, Data Engineering and Microsoft BizApps, will join three others that already exist in the city of Porto and will create 90 jobs.
The Japanese IT multinational, NTT Data, now has 15 hubs spread across a dozen locations and currently employs 1.700 people in Portugal, aiming to double its turnover to 6 million euros by 2025.

The new hubs, located at LACS Porto, “signal a new impetus for the consultancy to build and expand specialized teams, focused on specific sectoral or technological expertise”.
The NextGen Core Banking hub is an extension of the center of excellence that the consultancy recently created in Portugal, based in Lisbon, which aims to accelerate the modernization of banking cores, particularly by promoting the transition from traditional platforms to the cloud.
The Data Engineering hub is geared towards developing projects for the design, construction, maintenance and optimization of systems focused on collecting, storing and processing large volumes of data and multiple sources of information.

The Microsoft BizApps hub will be dedicated to projects to adopt business solutions to manage and optimize business processes and customer relations, reflecting the company’s commitment to strengthening its partnership with Microsoft.
